2CanDance
About us!
Our mission is to provide excellence in social dancing at a reasonable
cost. We teach private, semi-private and group lessons, as well as providing
dance demonstrations. The principal of 2CanDance is Ian
Kirkconnell, a long-time Vancouver teacher qualified with the Imperial
Society and a former Arthur Murray judge and dance director. He brings
to bear vast experience as an adjudicator, dance director, competitor
and coach. Ian is constantly upgrading his skills as a coach and not
resting on past laurels. He is still an active competitor; winning the
Master's divison at Phoenix 2002, Seattle's Easter Swing 2002 and 2003!.
He is a repeat winner of Arthur Murray's Top Teacher award. Ian's students
have a lot of fun and learn up-to-date, interesting, social dance skills.
Future plans include training new teachers and setting up a permanent
studio.
